The Symbiosis Entrance Test, also known as SET 2020 was scheduled to be held on May 2, 2020; However, now it stands postponed due to the extended countrywide lockdown because of the global pandemic. Further notice will be released by the authority in due course to inform candidates about the important dates.
SET 2020 is conducted to grant admission to candidates in the undergraduate programs offered by colleges/ institutes that are affiliated to SIU.
Here are the four Symbiosis Entrance Tests
- Symbiosis Institute of Technology Engineering Entrance Exam (SITEEE)
- Symbiosis Law Admission Test (SLAT)
- SET-General
- Symbiosis Entrance Exam for Design (SEED)
The last date for the Symbiosis Application Form has been extended till May 20, 2020.
SET Exam is conducted in two sessions:
- Morning session (9:30 AM to 12 PM) – Law and Design paper are conducted.
- Evening session (2:30 PM to 5:00 PM) – General and Engineering paper are conducted.
Symbiosis Application Form – How to Apply for Symbiosis SET 2020?
Candidates can apply for the Symbiosis SET 2020 Application Form can be filled through the online mode only.
Here’s the step towards applying for Symbiosis Application Form Online:
- First, visit the official website – set-test.org, to apply.
- Next, click on ‘Register Now’ that is located on the upper right side of the web page.
- Then, select the ‘New Registration’ and then fill in all the details and upload your Photo.
- Next, online payment should be made through debit/credit or through the net banking option.
- After the payment is made, a receipt confirmation page will pop up to confirm the payment.
- Lastly, save the web page and take a print for future reference.
Note: Candidates who want to apply for engineering, it is not important to register for the Symbiosis SET if ever the candidates wish to specify the JEE (Main) score as they can apply directly to their preferred institute.
What’s the Symbiosis SET 2020 Application Fee?
- The Symbiosis SET 2020 Application Fee is INR 1750.
- Symbiosis SITEEE 2020 Application Fee is INR 2000.
- Candidates who apply for two exams have to pay an additional fee of INR 1000 to be paid for each program.
- The application fee amount is non-refundable.
- The category of candidates has no relaxation on the fee amount.

The SET 2020 Admit Card is yet to be released on the SET website by the authority and is currently on hold because of the COVID-19 pandemic crisis.

Where will be the Exam Centers?
The online mode examination for SLAT/ SET/ SEED/ SITEEE for the admission year 2020 will be conducted across 80 different cities all over India. Candidates while filling the SET Application Form are allowed to choose three preferences for the exam centers.
Note: Also, candidates should keep in mind that there will be no change in the exam center preferences will be entertained after the candidate has completed his/ her registration for Symbiosis SET 2020. The candidates will receive the name of the final exam center on the SET Admit Card 2020.

What is the SET Exam Pattern 2020?
Candidates who wish to clear SET 2020 should have a clear idea about the Symbiosis SET exam pattern before appearing for the same. The SET 2020 examination will be conducted for four different programs .i.e., Law, General, Design and Engineering.
Here are few of the General highlights that are common to all the four papers listed below:
- Examination Mode of SET 2020: The SET 2020 exam will be conducted in online mode only
- Duration of Exam: The duration of each of this test is 150 minutes. Candidates must also remember that no extra time will be given to them if they report late at the exam centre.
- Number of Sessions: The SET 2020 exam will be conducted in two sessions –
Morning Session – 9:30 am to 12.00 noon. (Reporting time will be 07:30 am)
Afternoon Session – 2.30 pm to 5.00 pm (Reporting time will be12:30 pm)

The Symbiosis results will be released by the coordinating body on the official website. So, candidates should visit the official website to check the results. Here are the steps that the candidate needs to follow to download the Symbiosis SET 2020 Score Card:

- The Symbiosis SET 2020 counseling procedure will only commence after further evaluation.
