Answer:
I believe in Satyam, Shivam, Sundram. Love is God as various religions or paths go towards that Almighty similarly various roads lead to Love. It may start with appreciation of one’s physical, mental or social qualities. Appreciation gradually develops into love.

Love may also be instinctive or like the love of parents for their children and vice versa. You don’t know the qualities of a newborn baby still you love it, when we love a physically or mentally challenged child it is mingled with compassion-rather it starts from compassion and then grows into love. A clever child or prodigy gains love through appreciation. Appreciation and compassion mingle with love so well that you can’t segregate them.

The public’s love for filmstars, sports persons, politicians or social workers are due to their qualities and the work they do for their society or nation. Friends normally have the same wavelength and the qualities and tastes as you have or you appreciate. The love between friends grows naturally. The love among brothers and sisters is naturally, instinctively and sometimes when you appreciate them also, they become more lovable than others.

One has a parental feeling for a pet so the love between the master and pet is instinctive. Iirfact, you can’t separate love from other feelings like appreciation and compassion that lead to love and stay there along with it.

Answer:
I think there is better understanding among the people with the passage of time. They become more tolerant to the faults or follies and short-comings of each other. I, have seen my parents who used to quarrel sometimes, no longer do so. I, myself used to quarrel with my sisters and brother, but now these quarrels are rare. We know the likings and dislikings of each other, have better understanding and stronger bond of love among ourselves. The same is true with my friends.

Question 1.
The poet in the poem, ‘For Anne Gregory’ conveys that we should give importance to the inner beauty and not to the physical appearance. Elaborate with reference to the poem.
Answer:
In his poem, ‘For Anne Gregory’, W.B. Yeats brings home the theme that beauty is skin deep; that inner beauty is the real beauty. At the beginning, a young man tells the young Anne that young men love her for her beautiful yellow hair, and may never love her for what she is. He says that honey coloured hair makes young men despair.

So Anne says desperately that she can get a hair dye – brown or black so that men may love her for herself. By so saying, Anne implies that her external beauty is all superficial and men should not love her for that. The poet underlies that physical appearance of a person is changeable, hence unimportant. But the young man still says that she will not be loved by anyone but God will.
